Doug Powell
Some characters simply refuse to quit.
For more than seventy-five years, Wile E. Coyote has chased the
Road Runner with limitless imagination, questionable Acme
inventions, and the unwavering belief that the next plan will finally
succeed. I can appreciate that kind of persistence.
Created from thousands of reclaimed computer keys, this mosaic
gives obsolete technology a second life while celebrating one of
animation’s most enduring characters. Hidden throughout the
artwork are words and references from the classic cartoons,
inviting viewers to slow down, look closer, and enjoy the hunt.
Like Wile E. Coyote himself, this piece is about creativity,
determination, and the belief that every new idea is worth
pursuing.
