"Ground" Breaking News! Mission accomplished. Mary Kay Inc celebrated a ground breaking ceremony today for a new 480,000 square foot Global Manufacturing, research and development facility located in Lewisville, Texas.
With an imminent deadline hovering, I managed to design, build, create and deliver this nearly 7 foot tall by 8 foot wide 275 pound portrait of Mary Kay Ash made out of 11,800 creme lipsticks.
The portrait will ultimately be installed in the very facility that today's event celebrated.
What a wonderful opportunity and great honor it has been to participate as an artist in what is really a great American Success story.Thank you Stephen Dahlem and Corporate Magic for allowing and trusting me to venture into new creative territory and bring more exciting innovative ideas to the world of leading-edge visual arts.
